Trojan Crates wanted a video to showcase the company and its services, to complement marketing materials after a re-branding. The company is mostly known for the timber crating side of its business, but wanted to highlight new products and services it has developed in the past 30 years, including bespoke CNC inserts and Peli protector cases.
Trojan Crates was very open to our ideas and allowed us to take the lead on the structure and feel of the video.
We aimed to capture shots with greater depth of field than some of our previous productions to portray an almost cinematic type feel to the video.
It was the perfect opportunity to use our portable GoPro cameras which allowed our film team to get close to the action of the CNC machines and portray just how accurate the process is. To add an extra element to the video, we used the skills of our in-house 3D animation team to highlight an example of tools going into a precision-engineered foam insert.
The response to the video has been fantastic and by using our augmented reality app Clevar, the Trojan Crates sales team can now show the video through its business cards and company logo.
