AVC support The Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust

The charity was introduced by Campbell Burns’ family who, at just a few weeks old was tragically diagnosed with Leigh’s Disease; a rare metabolic disorder affecting the mitochondria in every cell of his body.  Tragically, the disease is untreatable.

As well as the charity, the family have set up a blog, tracking their daily lives in order to raise awareness of the disease.
