AVC Media Enterprises has generously donated £500 to friend and associate, Beverley Hill, who will embark on a 350KM 5-day charity cycle ride across Cuba on November 4th, 2011, in the hope of raising £2,500 for muscular dystrophy charity, Murray’s Muscles.
Beverley will put her pedals into action when she begins in Havana, the Cuban Capital, before covering a total distance of 350km in just five days. This will see her take in some challenging terrain in humid conditions before crossing the finish line in Trinidad by the Caribbean Sea on November 9th.
Registered in 2005, Murray’s Muscles is a West Midland’s-based foundation which works towards benefiting those who are affected by the terminal disease locally and nationally. By fundraising, it allows the charity to purchase essential equipment that would not only work to improve the quality of life, but would also comfortably manage the disease - for which there is currently no cure.
Lesley Little, Director of AVC Sports, says,
“Everyone at AVC wishes Beverley the best of luck. This cause is close to Beverley's heart and every pound raised will help towards finding a cure.”
