Pupils of St Machar Academy have been given the chance to showcase their young artistic talent in a special gallery at the AVC Business Centre.
Having developed a partnership with St Machar Academy over the last few years, AVC invited Art and Design pupils from the school to display their artwork in the gallery. The gallery has exhibited work by local artists since the opening of the extended centre in 2008, and has seen a variety of artistic disciplines and techniques grace the walls over the last year.

Katherine MacPherson, Communications Executive at AVC, is responsible for CSR and was very impressed with the standard of work for the current exhibition. “AVC felt this was a great way to work with St Machar Academy and give these budding young artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in public. It is such a high standard and amazing that they are producing work of this quality at such a young age. Both the pupils themselves and the school should be very proud.”
Janice Stott, St Machar Academy, is thrilled with the most recent partnership with AVC, “we are delighted that our business link is developing further with AVC Media Enterprises and that our pupils are getting the chance to showcase their talents in the business centre. The exhibition will culminate with an event, hosted by AVC, inviting pupils, parents and staff to visit the gallery. The pupils will be thrilled to see their work displayed in such a professional environment”.

The exhibition will run up until Christmas. For more information on exhibiting at the AVC Business Centre, please call Katherine MacPherson on 01224 248007 or e-mail info@avcmedia.com.
