AVC up to Scratch as PGA Award Design of European Website

Following a competitive round of credential presentations, AVC Media Enterprises has been awarded a lucrative contract for the development of an inter-nation website for The Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Europe.

AVC beat off eight other digital media companies from across the UK to secure the redesign of the PGA Europe site. The existing site will now be over-hauled to represent 33 member countries and will provide a host of interactive features including tips and demonstration videos. The site will be used as the main interactive and communication tool by European golf professionals in the sharing of knowledge and information gathering about new learning initiatives across Europe.  Spencer Buchan, Director for AVC, attended the PGA’s of Europe Annual Congress in November, to present to PGA’s representatives and their corporate Blue Chip sponsors at La Serena Golf Club in Murcia, Spain.

Stewart Buchanan, Creative Director for AVC comments:

“This contract is testament to our recent push towards online marketing techniques, as clients look to switch from more traditional, paper-based materials. The competition for agency work is still particularly tough and we have done exceptionally well to win this PGA contract as we we were up against other top notch agencies. We look forward to working on this project in the coming months.”

By continuing to shift and recognise the changing needs of the online marketing genre, AVC is counteracting the economic downturn that has been seen sector wide. With several more contracts in the pipeline, it looks to be a profitable winter for the agency.
