Project: Specialist Cars Audi S5 Coupe – Car Launch

Background 

The Audi showroom in Aberdeen approached AVC Media Enterprises (AVC) to design and support the Audiovisual requirements for the launch of the new Audi S5 Coupe.

Summary

The overall aim was to ensure that the launch was exciting, up-market and captured the mystery of the new design.  The client wanted to hold the launch in the Aberdeen showroom and include a range of elements including a screen for presentations and promotional video, sound screen, staging and key lighting.

This included a 103” plasma screen which provided superb picture quality with a powerful viewing impact of smooth, high-resolution images on a large screen. A bespoke stage set was designed and installed, incorporating a range of lighting effects and pre-selected music. The mystery of the new design was captured by combining the lighting and sound effects to create a level of mystery and build up to a crescendo where the car was unveiled from beneath a drape.

The event proved to be a suitably high quality environment for the car launch and created an atmosphere that was exciting, dynamic and interactive.
