Project: Chevron - Audiovisual Technology for Conference and Meeting Rooms

Background

Chevron is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies. Headquartered in San Ramon, California, the company conducts business in more than 100 countries with involvement in every aspect of the crude oil and natural gas industry, including exploration and production, manufacturing, marketing and transportation, chemicals manufacturing and sales, geothermal and power generation.

AVC has been involved in the supply of audiovisual equipment to Chevron in the UK for a number of years and when Chevron decided to create a new building in Aberdeen, they asked AVC to provide advice and support.

Summary

Chevron wanted the latest technology being used for conference rooms and general meeting areas for their new office. 

The main objective for the technological elements was to ensure that that high specification equipment was used while maintaining intuitive operation and an easy user interface. This was achieved using state of the art AMX control systems.
