ASV required the brochure for a series of high level events happening throughout 2010, starting with the Commonwealth Sports Development Conference 2010 in Glasgow, at the start of June.
AVC’s graphic design and PR professionals worked closely with the team at ASV to understand the purpose, audience and vision behind the brochure. The brochure had to portray the vibrant and energetic nature of ASV, capturing the quality of the facilities, equipment and the overall level of service on offer.
The brochure had to be image led, showcasing the facilities on offer and illustrating the spacious and colourful environment. The Aberdeen Sports Village corporate guidelines were carefully adhered to, utilising the vibrant yellow as the core colour throughout the publication.
The copy was developed by AVC and contents carefully planned alongside the team at Aberdeen Sports Village to ensure the presence of all obligatory information. Copy was developed to sit alongside sister materials and adhering carefully to the existing corporate language. It was important to incorporate testimonials throughout the brochure from leading sporting figures, endorsing Aberdeen Sports Village. These were highlighted separately throughout the brochure to ensure that the eye was easily drawn to these complimentary statements.
Aberdeen Sports Village were delighted with the final brochure and have since said that they were proud to be distributing it at the Commonwealth Sports Development Conference.
