Project: Landmark Park - Website Design & Development
Summary: AVC created a design that was both fun and informative with the aim of turning website visitors into park visitors, the website enables users to get a feel for what the park provides with all attractions listed and a heavy emphasis on professional photography.

Landmark Park is a theme park aimed at visitors of all ages with various attractions and activities. AVC created a design that was both fun and informative with the aim of turning website visitors into park visitors, the website enables users to get a feel for what the park provides with all attractions listed and a heavy emphasis on professional photography. The functionality consisted of a dynamic CMS for easy updates and a ticket booking service, a separate function created by AVC was the affiliate system which enables Landmark to manage their large database of affiliates throughout Scotland. 

Visitor attraction websites need to be alive to capture the users imagination and create a fun atmosphere. Flash was used in the header banner to add subtle animation using natural elements found within Landmark. The palette was kept bright and sharp which attracts the eye and adds energy, the typography emphasises the woodland aspect of the attraction. Navigation was kept to mainly pictures, keeping the attractions as visual as possible. Not only does this increase the users product awareness, but it allows them to find what they’re looking for quickly and easily.
