AVC Training was contacted to plan and implement a series of company specific Supervisory and Leadership courses, designed to further develop the performance of their Assistant Drillers. 

Summary

The Training Co-ordinator at AVC worked closely alongside Transocean to develop a training package tailored to the developmental needs of its staff. The frequency of each course was determined by the availability of the attendees, meaning that courses were spaced out throughout the year and relied upon careful co-ordination and communication between Transocean staff, the company itself and AVC Training to ensure suitable dates were sought for all parties involved.

To ensure content consistency, the same trainer and course materials were used for each session. This was of vital importance to the client, who wanted to ensure that the messages, practices and behaviours adopted by staff during the course were the same throughout the whole company.

Transocean continues to attend this course to maintain staff development.
